Yes, how to text message from my email this has bugged me for a long time.  I could not figure out why I could not email to a cell phone and send them a text.  In business as most of us I use email, but my teenagers don’t even look at their emails very often, their world is text message and I would like to be able to communicate with them when I am doing emails or get a message to them right away and not have to wait until they get around to looking at their emails days later,  now I have read how to do that and it is so easy.  Digging for my phone in my purse and using my blackberry takes more time to stop and change technology to communicate. Plus when they respond, it comes into your emails.

SMS is text messages and MMS is pictures or video. Finally Quick Online Tips  blog explained how to text message SMS (text) or MMS  (video or photo) from your email.  I tried it and it works  very well. This will also work well for those who have a cell phone, but no internet and are not getting their emails to their phone.  Use this with someone you know well, since you have to ask them what carrier they are using to make it work. Be sure they have a text plan, if not there is a pretty hefty charge for a text.  Now if someone could explain to me how to email to a fax number please?

This is also a great way for your sales team to communicate with clients who have only provided you their cell phone numbers and can then manage the communications on a computer and not hand texting each one.

Do you know how to send free SMS text messages? Text messages are a daily part of our lives. They let us communicate with people in seconds without having to call and waste precious breaths. You may think we are lazy for liking them but I think they are convenient. I actually would like to give the inventors a pat on the back.

But what if you lost your mobile phone? What if you ran out of messages. What if another problem occurs and you cannot use your cellphone or aren’t in reach with it. Luckily if you have a computer and an email address you are saved.

Send Free SMS Text Messages

  1. Go to your nearest computer and open up to your email service
  2. Get the number and mobile service provider of whoever you want to text messages
  3. Once you have that go to this list of carriers providing SMS transit and scroll down till you reach their mobile service provider.
  4. Once you have reached it, write down the email address you have to email to
  5. After you’ve done all of that, go back to your email and write up a new message
  6. In the “To:” section write for example, number@txt.att.net, as 555555@txt.att.net with the area code
  7. Put what ever is in the “Subject:” section and just write the message normally
  8. Click “Send” once your done

Now you can go back to text messaging even without a phone and with no hassle.”
